Excellent Performance, Telkomsel Record Monthly Revenue to Rp 5 Trillions
Telkomsel Record Double Digit Growth 


PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) record a promising net revenue. A group member of  PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (Telkom) for the first time have its  revenue per month at Rp 5 trillions in last August 2012. Telkomsel also record double digit growth, where Telkomsel revenue grows 10 % to be Rp 35 trillions.   


In the net revenue, Telkomsel have successfully recorded its bet revenue at Rp 10 trillions or grows 23 %. A positive growth also seen in the EBITDA to be Rp 20 trillions or grows  10 %.


This positive growth is considered by Telkom BOD as an excellent performance taking a look at a tight cellular telephone business. In mid of a very tight competition, Telkomsel are still able to record such an excellent performance. This shows Telkomsel as a very sound company and will continuously grow. 


For the first semester 2012 and to date, Telkomsel have faced a getting tight competition  by making products and services breakthrough. This is proven by the increase of revenue at 10 % compared with the same period last year, which is the highest in telecommunications industry, and leading the market with a market share at 43 % and over 120 millions of subscribers.


To serve almost 120 millions of subscribers nowadays, Telkomsel make various innovations  beyond telecommunications and data-based cellular telecommunications service, such as, a service supporting less cash society like  T-Cash and Tap Izy and various creative industries in  mobile application and other Value Added Services (VAS). With the spirit of  the Most Indonesia, Telkomsel continue to participate actively realizing communication service in over  25,000 villages through a program of Universal Service Obligation (USO) and 880 SMART villages (Have Internet).

 

 
The trust for Telkomsel’s service quality has been recognized nationally and internationally with the total 100 awards within 17 years serving Indonesia. The awards consist of Best Asia Pacific Call Center Award for Caroline Telkomsel (Asia Pacific Call Center Award), Wireless Service Provider of the Year (Asia Pasific ICT Award 2010) from Frost & Sullivan, and from other independent institutions.
